Meet Steve Cudney: Same mission, different uniform.

 

In 2014, while on patrol, I visited my childhood friend Shaun Taylor, a paramedic.

 

That night, he and his partner, Jill Foster, had just received devastating news—another first responder had taken their own life. I was there with them when, in that moment, they decided to take action, creating #IVEGOTYOURBACK911 to support those struggling with mental health.

 

As first responders, we face the same battles—different uniforms, same mission. I wore the badge for 23 years, and though I’ve retired from policing, my commitment to protecting my brothers and sisters hasn’t changed.

 

I continue that mission today. Through my work as an insurance broker, I ensure #IGYB911 members have access to trusted, competitive home, auto, and commercial insurance tailored for those who serve. I go above and beyond to ensure you and your family are protected.

As a fellow first responder, I know what it means to have someone truly have your back.
